I t...</title><content type='html'>I think your fandom has clearly eclipsed mine. I think it's b/c the Lucksmiths specialized in a kind of pop that just doesn't speak to me the way it once did. That said, they always did it better than anyone else. And I've got a lot of great/bittersweet memories tied into this music as well. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I never really gave the last two albums much of a chance. The Mrs. was a big fan of the penultimate one. She liked the last one too, but I think regarded it as a bit of decline.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I can imagine you feel the way I would if TCS called it a day! I t...</title><content type='html'>You're right, Doug: the music doesn't go away. I think the sadness for me is that, for 11 years now, I've always had a new Lucksmiths record to look forward to.  They were not only one of the best indiepop bands ever, they were the most consistent.  They never let me down.  And that's what's done now: the anticipation of something new.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And then, like I said, there's a whole lot of my life wrapped up in that music.
