"Beep Beep Beep" would be teetering precariously on the end of falling into indie dance pop beige-ness if it wasn't for two things:

1. The synth pulse and timbale spaz that starts at 2:46. At exactly this point, the song goes from "Oh." to "Wow!", and when you start it over again, the whole song sounds fresh and exciting.

2. The lyrics, which nails the oft-used construction of love and technology:

My car goes "beep beep beep"
The time goes "beep beep beep"
The world goes "beep beep beep"
But you go "Ooh ooh oooh"

If you think those are dumb, then you and I probably shouldn't talk pop lyrics anymore.
