Good news today about Muxtape, I guess its back. Not entirely sure how successfully it will be now that it has its RIAA shaped chip on its shoulder. Looking forward to see where it goes from here.

One cool aspect of the new Muxtape is that it allows bands to share new and unreleased music. Baltimore's Dan Deacon has one of the first pages up where he samples a track off his album Bromst. Its due out March 24 and all anyone seems to know about it is that it was recorded by 15 musicians over three years...which seems crazy when you look at 2007's Spiderman of the Rings, a spastic one-man and his laptop kind of album.
